Mungi Ngomane

Mungi Ngomane is an author, advocate, and strategist whose life and work are rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu — the belief that our humanity is bound together. As the granddaughter of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, she carries forward a powerful legacy of justice, compassion, and dignity. She channels that heritage and in her own voice, she is advocating for human rights, peace, and the empowerment of women and girls.

Ngomane is the author of Everyday Ubuntu, a book that distills the concept into 14 lessons. Through this book she invites people across the world to embrace empathy, forgiveness, and community as cornerstones of a more peaceful and just society. Ngomane’s work remains grounded in one belief: that together, we can achieve more than we could ever achieve alone.
