Olivia Stokes Dreier

Olivia Stokes Dreier is a Senior Research Fellow at the Toda Peace Institute, where she leads work on global challenges to democracy and supports initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic resilience. She is also Senior Peacebuilding Advisor to the Karuna Center for Peacebuilding, where she previously served as Executive Director.
Dreier has extensive international experience in conflict transformation and post-conflict reconciliation. Working in close collaboration with local partners, she has developed and directed peacebuilding programmes in more than fifteen conflict-affected countries, including Bosnia, Nepal, Rwanda, Senegal, and Sri Lanka. She has engaged leaders across all levels of society, from community-based organisations to national institutions. Her work has supported the rebuilding of trust, facilitated constructive dialogue, and created mechanisms that reduced the risk of renewed violence.
