The Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony
Friday 10 December at 13:00 CET

Location: Oslo City Hall, Fridtjof Nansens plass, Oslo


The ceremony contains artistic performances, the speech of Chair of the Nobel Committee, the laureates are presented the diploma and gold medal, and finally give the Nobel Lecture.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee is expecting both Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov to attend the ceremony. 
Moreover, the World Food Programme, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020, will be represented at the ceremony by its Executive Director David Beasley. Mr. Beasley will deliver the Nobel Lecture on behalf of the World Food Programme.

  • Registration and security check between 11:00 and 12:30 CET
  • Bring press card and passport / photo ID
  • Media room is open until 16:00
