We are working under the assumption that the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado will be present at the press conference.

Location: The Norwegian Nobel Institute, Henrik Ibsens gate 51, Oslo 

 

  • The press conference will be held in English 
  • The press conference is open to accredited media only. 
  • There is room for a maximum of three people from each TV channel and two people (a journalist and a photographer) from news agencies and newspapers.
  • Doors open at 11:00 and close at 12:15 
  • Registration and security check of all equipment at entrance  
    • All bags will be screened by security staff and/or the police before journalists are granted access to the Grand Hall
    • To ensure a smooth and efficient entry process, journalists are encouraged to bring only the equipment necessary to cover the press conference and avoid carrying extra luggage or personal belongings (similar to airport security screening)
    • The following items cannot be brought into the Norwegian Nobel Institute: umbrellas, food and bottles. Other items may be refused at the discretion of the security personnel if deemed necessary
  • Please bring
    •  the email confirmation from [email protected] verifying your accreditation
    • accreditation badge and Valid ID (physical Norwegian driver’s license, Norwegian national ID card, or passport) must be presented. Press ID is not considered valid identification. 
  • All coats and outerwear must be left in the cloakroom on the first floor.
  • Restrooms are located on the first floor (by the entrance) and will be accessible to all guest

 

NRK will deliver live signal to EBU.

Signing of the guest book

POOL: Immediately following the press-conference, there will be a closed session where the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will meet the Norwegian Nobel committee and sign the Nobel Institute’s guest book. NRK is pool for video and NTB is pool for photo.
