The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that this year’s Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony shall be an in-person event taking place in Oslo City Hall on 10 December. The Committee is expecting both Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov to attend the ceremony. Moreover, the World Food Programme, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020, will be represented at the ceremony by its Executive Director David Beasley.
