Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony
Location: Oslo City Hall, Fridtjof Nansens plass, Oslo
The 2024 Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony takes place in Oslo City Hall.
The ceremony contains artistic performances and the speech of Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
This year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Nihon Hidankyo, will be represented by the organization’s three co-chairs, Mr. Terumi Tanaka, Mr. Shigemitsu Tanaka, and Mr. Toshiyuki Mimaki.They will jointly receive the gold medal and the diploma. Mr. Terumi Tanaka will deliver the Nobel lecture.
The speech by the Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Jørgen Watne Frydnes, and the Nobel Lecture given by Nihon Hidankyo, will be sent to accredited press on the morning of 10 December under embargo.
The speeches will also be published at nobelprize.org and nobelpeaceprize.org on 10 December at 13:00 CET.

The ceremony will be held in English with simultaneous translations to/from Japanese.
