More than 200 guests are welcomed by the Nobel Committee to the Nobel Banquet at the Grand Hotel. This year the laureate will be seated together with HRH The Crown Prince and HRH The Crown Princess, the President of the Storting, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Other guests usually include ministers, members of the Storting, and representatives of public institutions, non-profit organizations, and cultural and commercial life.
