Forum 2023

The Nobel Peace Prize Forum focused on the fight for human rights and democracy in Iran, with an emphasis on the situation for women. The goal of the Forum was to give the audience an opportunity to learn more about the situation Iranians are facing in their daily lives, and how the rest of the world can understand the problems both within Iran and the region.

Keynote speaker: Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International who won the Peace Prize in 1977.

Nobel Peace Prize Forum 2023 was organized by the Norwegian Nobel Institute and made possible with support from the University of Oslo.

The forum is part of Oslo Peace Days, a collaboration between the Norwegian Nobel Institute, the University of Oslo, Oslo Municipality, the Nobel Peace Center and the Institute for Peace Research (PRIO).
