Ballots not Bullets: The Democratic Pathway to Peace
Democracy is a precondition for lasting peace. However, we live in a world where democracy is in retreat, where more and more authoritarian regimes are challenging norms and resorting to violence. The Nobel Peace Prize celebrations
The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded on the day of Alfred Nobel’s death, the 10th of December, a time-honored tradition since 1901. During the Nobel days in December a number of events mark the occasion.
