Masud Gharahkhani
President of the Norwegian Parliament
Masud Gharahkhani is a politician for the Labour Party. He has been a member of the Norwegian Parliament, the Storting, since 2017 and was elected President of the Storting in November 2021. Gharahkhani was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1982 and emigrated to Norway with his family in 1987. He has been clear and vocal in his support for the demonstrations and the fight for democracy, freedom, and human dignity in Iran.
